we're all frequently speaking a lot about the web2.0 and the new implementations/technologies to use like SOA architectures and REST (stateful) web applications... and many of us probably consider ROR the fastest way to build that ideal "successful web application" which should also make sense of the our REST knowledge ...

... mumble ... last.fm seems not written in ruby, but is for me the most stateful web application I've ever seen! I've to admit that I'm one of the estimators of that website, but have you ever tried links such as:

http://www.last.fm/login

http://www.last.fm/users/giulivo

http://www.last.fm/groups

http://www.last.fm/place/Ireland/Dublin

http://www.last.fm/tag/alternative

http://www.last.fm/music/Perturbazione

and last, but not the least, also the RSS in that format:

http://ws.audioscrobbler.com/1.0/user/giulivo/journals.rss

could be this the example we can use on wikipedia to explain how the REST works?
