Few weeks ago I saw a nice shirt online I wanted to buy ... just black, with the following on the front:

and yes, I'm not on facebook, but I found recently they've now released the source code of a lot of tools (some bigger others smaller) used for their infrastructure

some like hadoop were not written by them, but others like thrift or cassandra and scribe mostly seem to have been!

the last three specifically seem to have a big role in facebook.com itself so this make them quite interesting for me

I would investigate more on the license they're using but the work done could be worth for me a facebook account ... we will see
